From online comments across the WWW it is clear HSUS members continue to be disconcerted with the giant not-for-profit animal advocacy group.

Had HSUS asked its members if they approved the backing of Michael Vick the reply would have been a resounding NO.

Now, yet another issue has HSUS members annoyed... at least in Pennsylvania.

Recently, HSUS state director Sarah Speed entered into a private agreement with special deputy secretary of Dog Law Jessie Smith.

Essentially, the agreement kept hundreds of thousands of PA HSUS members in the dark. They were NOT notified about a regulatory process that would have allowed for the submission of individual public comments.

Ms. Speed's letter to the PA Independent Regulatory Review Commission details the agreement:

"At the request of the Bureau of Dog Law, we have not alerted our membership to the comment process or the development of the proposed regulations."

Read her letter here:

HSUS has an obligation to keep their membership up-to-date and offer members the ability to voice their individual opinions BEFORE moving forward and speaking on their behalf.

As was the case with Michael Vick, once again HSUS gives an entirely new meaning to the phrase "Wayne's World."
