Animal mutilation is BIG BUSINESS. So it’s important to understand that every person promoting violence has a vested interest in keeping their victims’ blood flowing. First, this is a simple request for audited financial statements to “clarify” some of misleading claims made by the Pro-Test network. Second, I’ll be publishing a list of the degenerates who sit on the AMP’s Board of Directors — it’s all one big happy family of industrial animal abusers. If anyone still believes this is about science, pay attention.

Animal Mutilation Blood Money
Dear Ms. Jaqueline Calnan, President:
In accordance with your profile as a 501(c)(3) public charity, and consistent with your Organizational Structure guidelines, I am requesting Americans for Medical Progress’ audited financial statements for fiscal year 2008, including all corresponding notes, references, derivatives, etc.
While your publicly filed balance sheet is skeletal and you report a modest revenue, your actual income (aggregate for prior four years) is only a foonote: Form 990 2008 Schedule A, Part II, Section A “Public Support”:
AMP RECEIVED $3,555,640 in public donations.
In addition, contrary to Tom Holder’s claim that he advocates vivisection for “health reasons” and that he is not a paid advocate,
AMP’s 2008 objective states: “Create an advocacy network for research among college students via campus presentations and outreach throughout the U.S. by AMP’s Public Outreach Fellow Tom Holder. Tom will stand in strong counterpoint to animal rights extremists who use threats and violence in their anti-research campaigns.”
While the $5000 stipend Holder receives directly appears to be buried in your financials, IRS Form 990 for Tax Exempt filing indicates that $28,000 was paid to Speaking of Research.
Your mission statement unequivocally states that AMP is an “advocacy network”. Perhaps one of us should explain this to Tom Holder.
Regards,
Camille Marino
Alliance for Progressive Science
In October 2009, amidst a glaring neglect of critical attention two leading total liberation blogs, Thomas Paine’s Corner (TPC) and Negotiation Is Over (NIO), joined forces with Dr. Steven Best and the North American Animal Liberation Press Office (NAALPO) to create the Alliance for Progressive Science (APS). While the website is under construction, please read our Introduction Notice and the APS Manifesto: Twilight of an Idol: “Progressive” Science Vs. “Pro-Test” Reaction.
.
Camille Marino, Founder & Publisher. Negotiating with abusers is an exercise in futility and veganism is essential. The only action that matters to the imprisoned is the one that imparts freedom. It is a moral obligation to protect the innocent whenever we can — and direct action, sabotage, or subduing the violent with violence is a necessary tactic. Free speech needs to be pushed. Oppression needs to be resisted.
I invite you to join the NIO blog network and take a stand for those imprisoned in labs. Remember, if they could fight back, their tormentors would have expired long ago. We have an obligation to expose the abusers. It is the LEAST we can do! I welcome your emails & look forward to adding your name to our team.
If you have a Facebook account, join the extended Negotiation Is Over network.”.
