In late May, a new associate calling himself Seal Shepherd (Michael McDade) lent his resources to a campaign on which I was working and I welcomed his assistance. A week or so later, Seal sent me a lengthy letter of intimidation advising me that, due to the 250,000 activists to whom he had availed me, I was now to disassociate from a generous and loyal colleague. I do not play these games and removed myself from the equation.
However, it is now apparent that Seal Shepherd is trying to bring down strong animal activists in rapid succession. He slanders them on facebook through his extensive networks, is attempting to gain notoriety by leveling legal actions against high-profile individuals, and he is attacking others in their professional capacities threatening economic hardship.
The fourth one of my friends became a target yesterday. These are facts to which I personally attest.
I have heard a litany of other highly-disturbing allegations.

Paul Watson
There is a cyber stalker operating under the name of Seal Shepherd who is passing himself off as a Sea Shepherd supporter. Apparently this man, who is a Canadian and signs his name as “Paul” has in many cases attempted to portray himself as Captain Paul Watson. He has been posting malicious messages to celebrities and making threats to women and children.
This man is not a supporter of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and his behaviour is unacceptable and typical of the type of cyber stalker we are beginning to see more of in online social network sites. He is a liar and he is dangerous. If you have him as a “friend” it would be in your best interest to delete him and if you receive or see any malicious or unethical posting or messages from him, you should report him the Facebook.

Whoa! What the hell! Where did this nut job come from? At least he showed his hand early enough hopefully before he could do any real damage. I know it’s so disheartening to trust someone, only to find you got a traitor in the ranks threatening to destroy gains you have made and the good people you care for. But, now he’s been revealed, he made a mistake in his game of deception by under estimating the power of loyalty and friendship. He just didn’t get it, it’s not in his nature. Thankfully, he’s been outed, for an unsuspected enemy can be doubly dangerous.

I’m active in the fight against seal hunting, and I connected with him a few months ago. In that time, he’s been shut down twice. And yes, he does threaten, bully, intimidate, betray, deceive, whatever he feels like doing, to whomever he feels like doing it to.
After “friending” him, one of the first things he claimed was that someone (Camille?) to whom he had made available his network of 250,000 supporters was consorting with “dangerous people.” He said he tried to expose this person, who then retaliated by getting one of his groups shut down (he claimed it had 70,000 members). He frequently talked about “bashing in the heads of everyone in Nova Scotia,” and seemed to spend more time making vile comments about everyone in his sights than he did fighting against the seal hunt.
As of this writing, he still has FB profiles under the names Seal Shepherd and Michael Shepherd, and his group Seal Shepherd Stop The Seal Slaughter is still active on FB.

Don’t be afraid of this punk. What you should do is document any threats or messages he sends you and show the authorities. We know he has been retained by two very wealthy former Playboy playmates to accomplish destroying us. Why they would want to destroy someone that saves seals? Strange to attack someone from South Africa as a “gay right extremist” when South Africa is one of only 7 countries in the world where gay people can get married and have all the same rights as others.
Furthermore, if her group did indeed shut down his China page, more than half of his OWN people must have reported it by individually clicking “report” – and you can only do that once. I was a member of that group which was forced to close down because of McDade’s lies and threats and NEVER were we asked to report his China page. I have been made a target of a hate campaign by the Barbi Twins.
We did some media together, and I thought that was great, and that would be the end of it. It wasn’t.
Sia Barbi, the single Barbi Twin began calling me obsessively. I could not control her obsession, and my mission to save the seals turned into doing damage control for the Barbi Twins.
I informed Shane of her sister’s strange, erratic, bizarre behavior, to which Sahne responded “she knows…everyone is telling her this.”
I asked Shane twice to have her sister cease and desist from contacting me in anyway. I had had enough of doing damage control for her.
I rejected her. As she calls us “regular people” I guess how dare he?
They are targeting me now. They have hired a cyber-stalker known to the police called Missy Jo. His real name is _. He is from Florida. The police both in Newfoundland and Toronto are investigating him for the mental and social terrorism he has created for the people of Newfoundland.
Sia Barbi has a medical problem. It is very serious. I will not get into it as it is thought to be responsible for her erratic behavior. Even now, as she attacks me, I will not disclose to you what it is. It is very serious though.
Her sister had asked me if an intervention would help. I told her no. She has mentioned having the LAPD put a 5150 on Sia as she is destroying the Barbi Twins name. I don’t know what a a 5150 is…but I beleive it’s a 72 hour psychiatric evaluation. You are held against your will.
I have kept thousands of emails and voice mails from the Barbi Twins. I started doing this as the strange obsessive behavior began. I knew Sia was out of control. The only thing worse than a person out-of-control, is a person not aware they are out-of-control. Again, you are not aware of the very serious medical condition she has. And I will not disclose it.

No one should have their life threatened for trying to save animals.

The Barbi Twins seem to think I have encroached on Paul Watson’s name. Paul Watson is the well respected fellow Canadian who heads the SSCS (Sea Shepherd Conservation Society). He lives in Australia now after facing off with Canadian Law in 2008. I have never received one email stating “great Whale Wars episode.” No one has ever confused me with Paul. The man is a legend.
I did help the dogs and cats of China as well. My China group garnered 70,000 voices strong for the dogs and cats of China that are brutally tortured, beaten, and eaten! We got CNN media from the group, and to my shock, I received media that the first ever animal rights bill was being written in China. I knew we had nothing to use against the Chinese. Try buying anything that’s not made their. What I did have though, was the Chinese pride. And I used that to show them that beating and eating companion animals is seen as savagery throughout the world. There are claims from both sides, one AR accussing the other. I don’t like this at all. This is not what animal rights is about. People that support animal rights and are fighting shouldn’t be targeted from other animal right activistis. I don’t know which one is right or wrong but i think this kind of tactics is what makes the AR movement weak. Instead of trashing one another we should be fighting for animals not fame !!!

As I see it, McDade is threatening people, posting their info online, telling them their lives will be ruined.. and this is just to the AR activists!
All we’re doing is saying we won’t tolerate it anymore. I think that’s fair. And there’s no ‘trashing’ when what you write is just the truth about what he’s put his victims through.
I had been working with this man a few months back. He pulled me close to him since I had a skill he desperately wanted. I was made admin on many of his facebook pages. Then, after about a month of working with him I began to notice his psychosis. He would launch into tirades about, “I’M THE BOSS”. and “GET THINGS DONE!” when he was emailing mostly female admins. I did one project with him and left due to his abusive ways. I have since become friends with many of the people he used to work closely with. I have also established close contact with The Barbi Twins. They are petrified of him and his treats to besmirch their good name. IT IS NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. McDade is a psychopathic control freak and cyber-stalker. I worked closely with him and almost considered him my friend for a month. When I left I was told he began spreading rumors about my sexual orientation. The man is sick and needs his head checked.

I am in law school and can say that anything you say about a person better be prooveable truth because if it is not true and if you cant prove it to be truth defamation comes to play. especially if it causes any problems for you with family, society, your community, friends. he is a disgusting coward and a bully for sure. And Im not sure what your sexual orientation has to d with him. how is that any of his God damn business?
I was his admin at the same time Videoman was, working on that first group. McDade “fired” me as admin and the SOB never gave me a reference. Seriously, he was a petty bully when I was working with him, but I’m not surprised to see how he progressed. I don’t know how he thinks this is helping the seals, but he is too toxic to speak for those of us who have worked for decades for an end to the slaughter. If he hurts the anti-sealing movement he’ll REALLY have fucked up.

I just removed him. I have not really had any communication with him and dont know how long he has been on my list but needless to say he is a piece of crap. And I did leave a nice comment on his wall depicting him as the fraud and fake and enemy to all of the animals he so claims to care for. He drefames quite allot of good people. That I do not like. I am happy at least we can all post to warn others about him and expose him for who and what he really is
You don’t need to trust Camille, Watson, or whoever else: trust your instinct, and use your brain. It’s very easy to understand this is NOT a game, nor a soap opera. His groups (most hacked: we joined a group, and then names, info etc changed)are identical, he never started an action, he never created a petition; nobody ever saw him at protests, demos, events. A ghost, a nut ghost. He used Ashli’s death, and in his immense stupidity he forgot we have Ashli’s emails that warned us. I’m disgusted when I read of pseudoactivists that defend him (and say we are paranoid): how can you tolerate his racism if you are ARAs? Read his comments, it’s enough. Let alone his hatred for vegans and love for leather… please if you support him don’t waste my time when he start harassing you, we already wasted too much time because of this sociopath and this is exactly what he wants: time is precious for animals. This guy is nothing but a cyber creep. I have gotten a number of nasty e-mails form him. You have to be on your toes because it seems the minute he gets shut down he sets up a new profile or group.
I am in shock to hear all this about yet another member of the AR community. In my short time here this seems to be the norm. I just spoke with Michael and he asked if me and two of my closest friends would work with and for him as he is under attack again by the same treacherous people he has had troubles with all along. This all sounds like another witch hunt. This is the reason we do not do much business in this fb network. Too much troubles and disharmony and for what? I have also heard sorry stories about some people who write here today but I do not listen nor do I care. I have my job to do and will not get caught up in those who need contention and drama within the communities. Michael just told me last week that this would happen again. All of the accusations levelled against McDade are evidenced in the email blasts he repeatedly sends out, and has sent out for months now. All you have to do is read them. You don’t need to believe anything written here. He brags about what he does to his victims, and publicly threatens people.
And no, this is not because of yet ANOTHER poor woman McDade has accused of stalking, harrassing and trying to bring him down (he does this regularly, read his email blasts from this year, all of them). This is because the entire online AR movement is sick of being victimized by him. Put the blame where it belongs- squarely on him.

I completely understand that this looks to you like more drama and another waste of everyone’s time and energy.
I have seen the devastation up close that this man has caused a committed and dedicated activist. I have seen the attacks in rapid succession and I have watched as one person after the next is taken out of circulation. This goes far beyond online bullying.
I published this because I have a responsibility to (1) defend my friends and (2) alert other activists to a potential disaster waiting to consume them.

I will have to add that it is so very sad that these wonderful groups of his are being destroyed. These are very important issues that need to be addressed and not gamed. The letter I just read is legitimate. I do not know anything about the Barbie Twins but I do know about the woman Michael speaks of as Anique Human and not by Michael. Tahiru Entwadumela is also someone I know of and have seen in different groups and sites. Somehow this will make sense to me soon. I am going to get with some friends and put it on the table for them to decipher. Something just isnt right here. Yeah, he began sending me PM’s when I asked him to refrain from sending me group messages from the Seal Shepherd page about the twins, which he initially refused to name for legal reasons. I asked for proof of the stalking from this woman, and again, he said he could not disclose. One of my good FB friends that resides in Canada told me about him, and I always thought there was something weird, no protest pics, etc, just photos of some twit on a bike. So I enquired about the seal cull when it seemed hypocritical that he wore leather. He told me it was pleather, I did a quick search of the bike brand he was wearing and they don’t use pleather. He’s an impotent windsock that probably smothers himself in peanut butter and wacks off to his own negative publicity, he thinks he’s some kind of fucking leader because he has a Facebook page which any moron can organise. Good riddance, loser.
Hello Joey, first, what is a PM please? And are you sure you have the correct person. I was aware that the real Seal Shepherd’s account had been taken or hacked by someone else and he had to make another. I have no idea now after reading all of this from top to bottom what to think about all this but we will find out because my friends and I were asked to help him. I do not like to get involved in smear campaigns or the like but since I am involved with Michael on a professional level I have a need and a right to know. This guy lists a huge number groups and websites that are supposedly part of his “network”. So my question is this: am I going to have to quit every one of these anti-sealing groups that I’m in? Has he compromised them all in some way?
Some of these groups are administered by sincere ocean defender friends of mine who aren’t off their nut like this wacko. I don’t want their good work negated by this one bad apple.
On a related note, I know that Seal Shepherd has a real hate on for the Barbi twins. So, is it just coincidence that when you now try to access their “Join Club Barbi” page, you’re automatically defaulted to one of his pages, “Save Our Seals”? I find it hard to believe that this is really the twins’ page, with a new name!

I met someone via an Interet rescue forum who turned out to be a cyberbully and stalker, and to my horror I realized there are quite a number of them on forum communities, especially where fundraising is taking place. So to rescues and animal caretakers, beware of being targeted. And to donors, beware of getting ripped off.
Many people in the animal welfare sector, because of their genuine and caring natures, do appear to be easy prey for people who are pathologically sick, manipulative, and dangerous. Protect yourselves. Protect your animals.
I apologize to the Barbi Twins for even questioning their posts and emails!! I can’t believe I fell for this guy’s crap when he hacked their accounts. This guy seems to be concealing his location in an empty house or he is some kind of ocd control freak. This spells trouble.

Me and my mother have been the victim of a bit of cyber stalking recently. We got the police involved and that has helped… for now!
Just read his emails…..they are irrational rants and ravings – he uses highly offensive misogynist and homophobic language….he has actually “Outed” himself…..
The strategy of his groups to help the seals was even professional, in a move of an project.
People were doing their ”homework” which he offered, planed out in advance. The groups were growing, more people joined, the actions gained power. And the actions were powerful.
It took maybe one or two brains to pull it down, conflicting him with another ARA. The other side, the real business profiting from the seals does not want to loose their money nor they want to quit slaughtering the seals.
Like in Europe anti fur movements are stopped, people are forced to leave the protests because the fur business wants to keep its costumers. Even the police is hired to chase people off and so on..
Long time ago I remember Michael wrote to all-when the Barbi Twins joined the campaigns that one even fall for him (it was in a innocent sense)and I remember looking over names he pointed as his threats and they were on the pro-sealing groups. It was perfectly clear at the beginning of his groups that he was not Captain Paul Watson but because of his Seal Shepherd name people were associating him with the sea shepherd crew. Few times his profile was taken down even at the very beginning because pro-sealer did not want him to become ”famous”, in fact, the campaigns were working- for the seals, not for him.
He may be a dangerous cyber stalker, but some traditions are to strong to change.
Slaughtering those seals there is out of mind, like out of mind is to torture a dog to prepare it for -alive skinning-.
Karma works, sometimes it take its time, but it comes. I am not sorry for suddenly suffer of people who have no soul and are deaf on the pain that animals suffer because of peoples greed. There are other countries in the world who experienced hunger during wars but never killed a dog for food even they were starving every day.
So if he is evil, karma will work for him too.
Unfortunately when one cannot feel the compassion within themselves and understanding that this entire movement has been ongoing with the help of many stand-up activist that takes everything in stride of being exactly who they are and why they are giving this matter a sacred approach in saving our Oceans.

This is extraordinary. I have never heard of anyone this blatantly evil except Cheney, but he is at least more subtle. It seems to me that if enough complaints are compiled against this madman, the FBI or some such could handle it. Meanwhile, have no dealings with him–just compile a dossier. I was seal’s admin under Kelly Peyatt . I recently left his group as of yesterday . His new group fuck off Namibia was my information he has gone and taken all the credit for. I worked for 2 months gathering as much information that I can for the seals of Namibia and bam he creates a group with all of my research .
Also Blood beach Namibia was built up by me … he recently deleted all the posts that I made for the group because he did not want the truth to come out .
He is nothing but a bully and makes his admin do all the work that he takes credit for .
