A.L.F. Informant Speaks
Sep 30th, 2009 by Peter Young
Jacob Ferguson – core member of the A.L.F. / E.L.F. cell responsible for over a dozen large-scale arsons in the 90’s and early 2000’s – breaks his silence on this recent CNN clip. After turning informant, Ferguson wore a wire and approached old friends about previous arsons. This testimony was used to send over 10 people to prison, and sparked others to live underground as fugitives to this day.
Taking a revisionist view of history, Ferguson claims that when his cell was active they considered themselves a “terrorist cell” – a doubtful rewrite of history to pander to the interviewer, audience, and FBI. Ferguson is also strikingly inarticulate, casting into doubt his alleged role by the FBI as a charismatic ringleader charming young environmentalists into carrying out arsons on behalf of the Earth. The clearly not-vegan Ferguson has also gained easily 100+ pounds since earlier photos taken of him (Ferguson once joked to a Rolling Stone reporter that during a raid of a lab, his partners in the action, which he called “the vegans” were too weak to carry out the raid effectively).
When watching the video, you may wonder as I do how one person can betray so many he stood by, and the animals he once stood in defense of. A glimpse into the mind of the most egregious turncoat in the animal liberation movement’s history.

Bastard! Why would he do such a thing?! So upsetting..
There ’s only one thing to do to a snitch..I see a wood chipper in his future….Bastard….
Jacob Ferguson’s betrayal has caused much damage to his once co-activist friends, protesting against earth and animal abuse. ELF appears to be the culprit – however, animal/earth abuse has brought millions worldwide into an uproar against authorities who refuse to show concern or kindness to nature. The use of Red tape is just an excuse for not taking action, letting the files gather dust in forgotten storerooms while the atrocities continue. Ferguson’s betrayal will not end animal lovers’ quest to help the helpless. The scales have tipped and there is’nt much that can change things now – animal activist groups, fighting for animals rights have become like a roller-coaster, crashing through the once guarded silence, exposing earth and animal abuse in all it’s gruesome forms. Their quest is to end suffering and pollution, exposing the culprits and their hellish methods. A few animal saviours may be caught, but the spirit will never be quenched – that is the difference between cruel, selfish greedy individuals/governments with tunnel vision on gain, and animal saviors who are prepared to risk their lives for the sake of saving the ones who can’t beg, bribe or negotiate themselves out of their perilous predicament. Thank you.
Huge lesson for all involved in non legal actions is not to discusss such actions at a later date unless it is absolutely necessary. What interested me is the FBI bloke said that without him the prosecution could not have taken place. If that is the case if this grass had kept his gob shut the case against him may well have collapsed as well reading between the lines (although of course he may well have been in a proper legal fix). He surely had an opportunity to escape when they let him out to betray his freinds, he could have warned them even. He could have even at a later stage renounced his testimony. The IRA were rumoured to have a policy that someone who had been coerced (there were rumours of torture at Paddington Green, London, and Castlereagh, Nothern Ireland, police stations) would NOT be regarded as a grass if they renounced everything in court. At least we can all see what he looks like and steer well clear. I am left wondering if he made some cash out of this deal.
Good, Good Man.
Someone was weak, and it wasn’t ‘the vegans.’
