Fairway was the victim of physical abuse and was found starving. Although her wounds are healing, she needs a new family desperately.
“Fairway” — a temporary name — is a one- to two-year old dog that was found on a golf course in Central Florida almost two weeks ago. She is still in the care of my vet. Since the last emergency foster I took in is now one of my babies, I may not have the room to properly foster and care for Fairway. Barring a better alternative, she will become my emergency foster shortly.
When she was found, her bones were clearly defined below her skin… she was starving. She has not stopped eating since she was rescued. Fairway had a large cut on her nose which has healed nicely; but she was clearly the victim of physical abuse. She has been treated for the fleas and ticks that infested her coat. And she had a broken toe which has been cared for and is healing.

Fairway just got a bath outside on a sunny, warm day. But now she needs someone to love her. (my vet's asst. in picture)
I just met Fairway… she is extremely frightened and timid and needs a loving permanent home desperately… she is so gentle, but very unsure… she needs patience and encouragement.
If you can open your home to Fairway and give her the family she deserves, please email me at camille@negotiationisover or leave a message on my cell: (352) 350-4155.
All references will be checked thoroughly and a prospective caregiver will need to pass a home inspection.
